Sharon has in excess of twenty years’ experience as a fitness and exercise practitioner. During this time she has held a variety of positions within the industry across Australia, she currently sits on the Exercise Professionals Council with Fitness Australia and whilst representing the Council for the Register of Exercise Professionals Australia (REPs), Sharon was instrumental in the tailoring of the new Units of Competencies for the Group Exercise Leader (GEL) registration category in the SIS2010 Training Package for the Fitness Industry, the testing of the new Pre Activity Screening System and the growth of the Continuing Education Framework.

Along with this, she was part of the Project Reference Group for the Lift for Life Project.

Sharon is a qualified and registered as an Advanced Exercise Professional with Fitness Australia, and holds an Accredited Certificate in Nutrition. Sharon also has qualifications in exercise for Rehabilitation, Advanced Resistance Training, Fitness Pilates Mat work and Reformer, Yoga Fit, Personal Training, Lift for Life and Sports First Aid.

Sharon’s easy going nature allows her to build rapport with participants across many sectors and her depth of experience allows her to develop fit for purpose stretching and exercise programs.
